Rich-Field 4.5 Inch Newtonian Reflector Telescope. Possibly the best reflector telescope value available today, this 4.5" scope boasts a short 500mm focal length. As a result, this scope packs a super-fast F/4.4 F-ratio, making it an extremely powerful instrument for wide-field and deep space astronomy. With its tremendous light-gathering power, you can observe fabulous nebulae, galaxies, binary star systems and most of the famed deep space Messier objects in dark skies. You can see outstanding detail when viewing the moon you'll spot the Rings of Saturn and the Moons of Jupiter. Included is an adjustable full-sized aluminum tripod with a built-in accessory tray. This scope has an Equatorial Mount, so it can be polar aligned to track the movements of stars parade across the night sky. Use the declination circle, hour circle and latitude scale to quickly locate any celestial body. Thanks to precision worm gears and a substantial counter weight, the telescope can be balanced so that the slightest finger touch turn of the flexi cables will move the telescope with a smooth, steady motion. An optional right-ascension motor drive is available. Two medium power 1.25" diameter Plossl eyepieces (25mm & 10mm) and a Barlow 2x lens are included. Additional 1.25" eyepieces are available. Also included is a dust-free cleaning cloth, a map of the surface of the moon and a moon filter designed for reducing moon glare, and a poster of the solar system. The primary mirror is collimated (aligned) at the factory, but the scope does not include collimation aides, tools or instructions. All reflector telescopes show an inverted image, so purchase an optional erector eyepiece for daytime terrestrial viewing. Because the included paper instructions offer limited guidance, we provide buyers with an online full-color photograph, step-by-step assembly guide so you'll be up and running without having to struggle with a complex assembly diagram.

This GPS telescope does it all with just the push of a button. Simply turn the telescope on, choose the object you want to see on the handheld controller and the computerized mount does the rest. North Star alignment not necessary with GPS. This incredibly balanced telescope is ideal both for space viewing and daytime observing. With a large 70mm aperture this telescope has a third more light gathering power than most smaller scopes. The fully coated achromatic 70mm primary objective lens is maintenance free and ready to use right out of the box. The 700mm focal length, combined with 3 include eyepieces and a 2x barlow lens means you'll enjoy a range of magnifications from 35x to 350x. That makes this telescope ideal for just about any observing application. The iOptron SmartStar-G Alt-Azimuth Mount with GPS, a.k.a. The Cube, is probably the most functional and flexible unit on the market. Both axis motors are built into a small single unit. In addition, there are no "dead spots" -- so you can point your telescope anywhere above the horizon, whereas, other mounts block the telescope tube at certain points of rotation. This mount also comes standard with AC connection. The mount also accepts 8 AA cell batteries for use at home or in the field (Batteries sold separately). The revolutionary GoToNova computerized control system is the most technologically advanced automated tracking system available on the market today. With a database of 50,000 celestial objects, including all of the most famous galaxies, nebulae, star clusters, not to mention the planets, you'll be able to enjoy star gazing with the simple push of a button. The GoToNova Controller is much easier to use than other similar products. The hand controller is more intuitive with menu categories better organized. It also has a larger LCD screen with more lines of content compared with the competition. Using the easy-to-use hand controller, you can easily set up your telescope and select where you want to go.
